Amankwah: Ghana is in competent hands, be patient with Akufo-Addo
The former MP, Collins Owusu Amankwah, says the Akufo-Addo government is doing everything possible to change the fortunes of the country
The former MP for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah, has urged the youth to exercise some level of restraints and be patient with the government of President Akufo-Addo.
He said the governance of the country is in competent hands.
Speaking in an interview with Asaase News, Amankwah said: “Akufo-Addo’s government is doing everything possible to change the fortunes of the country and to totally transform the socio-economic architecture of Ghana.”
He added: “I am therefore humbly calling on Ghanaians, especially the youth to support the government of President Akufo-Addo to succeed.
“I am urging the youth to be steadfast, innovative and take advantage of the government’s pro-youth policies and programmes.”
Amankwah urged the youth to be mindful of political detractors who may want to use them as tools to destabilise the country in the wake of the #Fixthecountry protest campaigns, adding the organisers should focus on providing alternative solutions to the challenges facing the country.
