The Transport Minister says players in the transport sector must find ways to use technology to improve the movement of cargo and also enrich the experience of customers at the country’s ports

Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, the Minister for Transport has called on players within the transport and logistics sector to create a holistic and strategic response for an enhanced transport connectivity that goes beyond the traditional solutions.

“A lot of ports are facing severe congestion and backlog as a result of the imbalance and infertility of the novel COVID-19. Therefore, improving cargo movement through a resilient logistics and supply chain sector, whiles enriching customer experience and shipping next generation port industry through technology and automation is the way to go,” he added.
