ALA’s Nana Adjoa Hackman graduates with MBA from Imperial College London

Nana Adjoa Hackman is one of Ghana’s leading female entrepreneurs. Over the past 18 years, she has established and helped run businesses in real estate and the mass media

The managing partner of Africa Legal Associates (ALA), Nana Adjoa Hackman, on Wednesday (3 May) graduated with an MBA from Imperial College London.

She already has an LLM in petroleum law and policy (with distinction) from the University of Dundee.

Consistently rated in the top ten universities in the world, Imperial College London is the only university in the UK to focus exclusively on science, medicine, engineering and business.

 

Hackman co-founded ALA in 2015. Before her current role, she was the company secretary and head of the legal department at United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Ltd.

She is a member of the board of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd, which owns Asaase Radio in Accra, Kumasi, Cape Coast and Tamale. She is also a director of GAB Productions Ltd, which owns the newspaper the Daily Statesman.

She further served as a director on the eighth board of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.
