NRSA to drivers: Drive with caution during Easter season

The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has warned motorists to be extra cautious on the roads this Easter season to avoid crashes.

Joana Fafa Ayer, the Oti regional head of the National Road Safety Authority said they are collaborating with the police motor traffic department (MTTD) during the Easter period to ensure discipline on the roads.

She said police personnel equipped with body cameras and other devices have been deployed on the roads to check overspending, wrongful overtaking and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Ayer served notice that culprits will be severely punished to serve as deterrent to others.
