ONE YEAR OF CONTINUOUS APPRECIATION AND COMMITMENT TO THE NPP FRATERNITY
It’s been a year after our cherished patriots elected me and nine others as regional executives of Savannah Region. It has been a year of unimaginable success. The challenges have been daunting as well, but we have been resilient as a body.
I want to, first of all, reiterate my pledge to the ever dedicated and cherished government appointees, regional executives, constituency executives, council of elders, council of patrons, TESCON and all party faithfuls alike, that my stewardship shall be as it has been: one of respect, integrity, resilience, hard work, transparency and above all fearlessness. I am eternally grateful for the support from [the] onset and the selfless dedication to seeing my dream of serving this great party as a chief scribe, regional secretary come true.
My pledge to serve the party and all its branches is still intact and unwavering. The support from colleague executives at all levels (polling station to national) has been massive. The collaboration has been intense and gratifying from the first day in office.
The invaluable advice from well-meaning patriots from within and outside the region has been tremendous and impactful.
I have enjoyed with colleague regional executives the endless support of our able appointees; the regional minister, MDCEs, ministers, MPs, CEOs, etc. Special mention are Samuel Abu Jinapor and Clifford Braimah, my lifetime mentors Lawratu Saaka-Musah and Sulemana Adams Achanso.
My ever-supportive campaign team and its resilience in the face of all the threats and intimidation is still active in delivering the mandate we procured. I have never regretted working with you.
Thanks to the family for being there whenever everyone is gone. I can’t love you less.
Insha Allah, we have collectively, as a regional party, ensure the party is visible, attractive and active in every constituency. Yours truly has touched every single constituency and the most remote [parts] of the region with colleagues in pursuit of party cohesion. We have, as a body, put up a regional secretariat for the administration of the party to the admiration of all, assisted in procuring jobs, paying mandatory bills for persons who cannot afford and a host of others.
I conclude by saying that the Savannah regional NPP is solid on the ground. I [dare] say without any iota of equivocation or shred of doubt that the party shall win more seats in the next parliamentary elections and garner more presidential votes than we did in the 2020 elections. It is a battle we are on and shall surely succeed in Allah’s name.
The mandate you gave was emphatic and I shall surely do everything as I am doing to redeem same. I have not and shall never take for granted the opportunity to serve you and humanity. No stone shall be left unturned as we move towards the emphatic breaking of the eight with humility, modesty, respect, resilience and hard work.
I thank you all once again and may the almighty Allah see us through. Amen
God bless the Savannah Region
God bless NPP
And God bless our homeland Ghana.Mohammed Issah
