No party card needed to serve in my government, says Alan

Kyerematen

Independent candidate Alan Kyerematen has emphasized the need for transformational leadership that prioritizes the interests of Ghana above political affiliations.

Making a strong case for his presidency in the upcoming election the Alliance for Revolutionary Change leader underscored his commitment to a government that values expertise and integrity over party loyalty.

He was addressing supporters during a spirited ‘victory walk’ in Kumasi on Saturday (19 October) as part of a campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, the governing party’s stronghold.

“We are looking for a transformational leader. It is not about NPP or NDC. It is about Ghana,” Kyerematen declared. “If I become president, I will offer appointments to anybody competent; whether you are NDC or NPP, you don’t need to hold a party card to serve under my government.”

He vowed to initiate a constitutional review aimed at tackling corruption and streamlining governance. He also criticized the Free SHS policy, stating that while the idea is sound, its implementation has been flawed and needs to be reassessed to truly benefit Ghanaians.

“Ghanaians are saying the country has been divided into two. Things that do not require us to be political, we are political about them. The NPP and NDC factions we belong to have internal rifts. Do they think the country belongs to them?

“If the country belongs to them, they should tell me so that I can go and sit down. If we have two people fighting, we need someone to be the referee, right? Know that Alan Kyerematen is the referee for Ghana. Alan is the only person who can bring peace to Ghana.

“In the December polls, if the NDC wins, it will create trouble same as the NPP. The only person who will win and peace will prevail is Alan Kyeremanten. If you give me the mandate, within one year, Ghana will be transformed,” he stated.

The Alliance for Revolutionary Change has been actively touring 350 communities across 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region over the past few weeks.

The group believes that securing massive support in the region is crucial to enhancing its chances of victory in the upcoming presidential election.
