NDC primaries: Kofi Adams picks number 1 on ballot for Buem race

Aspirants have been scrutinised thoroughly to ensure that only those who meet the party's standard compete in the upcoming general elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Oti Region has begun the vetting process for all 32 aspirants from the Buem, Guan and Biakoye constituencies.

Aspirants have been scrutinised thoroughly to ensure that only those who meet the party’s standard compete in the upcoming general elections.

Adams, who is contesting for the second time, was vetted on Tuesday 4 April 2023 and has sailed through the process successfully.

He was accompanied by a large number of the constituency executives, well-wishers and close friends. Adams is known for his dedication to serving his constituents by championing development in the constituency.

In an interview with Asaase News, Adams reiterated his readiness to continue serving his people with diligence and commitment. He noted that his constituents deserve a leader who will understand their needs and translate them into policy interventions.

He stated that his decision to seek re-election is borne out of his desire to continue to serve the people of Buem and champion their welfare in parliament.

The incumbent member of parliament expressed his gratitude to the people for their unwavering support and love. He pledged to work tirelessly to ensure that his constituents feel the impact of his leadership.

Adams picked number one on the ballot paper for the constituency. He remains optimistic of a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.

The NDC in the Oti Region has continued to show its strength and dominance as it prepares for the general elections in December 2024.

The party has filed competent and dedicated candidates who are poised to work tirelessly to bring about the much-needed development to their respective constituencies.
