“Kwaku the traveler” is a well written song, says Ivan Quashigah

The creative director says the lyrics of the much-talked about song by Black Sherif were carefully scripted

Ghanaian filmmaker Ivan Quashigah has heaped praises on musician Black Sherif for his “Kwaku The Traveler” hit song.

Speaking on Between Hours with host Naa Ashorkor on Asaase Radio, the creative director said he pays attention to the current crop of musicians, despite his love for Bob Marley’s lyrics and music arrangement.

According to him, he took time to search for the lyrics online of “Kwaku The Traveler” after listening to it to appreciate what the “Second sermon” hitmaker was talking about.

“I listen to current musicians. This morning, I was listening to ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ so I took my time to go online and check the lyrics to understand what he was saying. I think it was quite well written, it’s a good song,” the CEO of Farmhouse Productions said.
