Shatta Wale songs feature in Netflix movie ‘Black Beach’
The Netflix action movie dubbed 'Black Beach' featured Shatta Wale's popular songs 'Ayoo' and 'My level'
Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has achieved yet another global feat after two of his songs featured in a Netflix movie.
The movie titled – ‘Black Beach’ – had Ayoo , My level and Mama Stories all by the award-winning Ghanaian musician featured.
Black Beach was shot in three countries namely Spain, Belgium and Cape Coast in Ghana.

The movie cast include Raúl Arévalo, Candela Peña, Paulina García, Claude Musungayi, Babou Cham, Lidia Nené, Melina Matthews, Emilio Buale, Mulie Jarju, Jimmy Castro, Fenda Drame, Dairon Tallon, Teresita Evuy, Olivier Bony.
Black Beach is an adventurous tale of a lawyer with a promising future who is forced to dive deep into his past after he agrees to negotiate a deal with an old friend now turned kidnapper.
Beyonce features Shatta in ‘King Already’
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in August last year congratulated Shatta Wale after he was featured in Beyonce’s King Already video.
Taking to Twitter, the President congratulated the dancehall artiste for his work on the collaboration.
The ‘Already’ video featured in Beyonce’s Black is King album released on 31 July.
