Bridge View Resort’s Edmond Ahadome nominated as CEO of the Year

The chief executive officer of Bridge View Resort, Edmond Ahadome, has been nominated for the title of CEO of the Year in the hospitality category of the second edition of the Ghana CEO and Vision Awards.

The purpose of the awards is to provide prime exposure and a thriving platform for CEOs to stay connected, relevant and ahead of the game and become verified via documentary films, awards and magazines.

The awards ceremony is also a premium brand that provides the biggest and most coveted pitching platforms for CEOs who have used the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately the country. It brings together the best chief executive officers in each business sector of Ghana.

Sharing the news on Facebook on Wednesday (23 August), Bridge View Resort expressed excitement about the nomination.

About Edmond Ahadome

In addition to serving as the chief executive officer and founder of Bridge View, a thriving resort in Akosombo, Edmond Ahadome has carved out a distinguished legal career.

He also leads the intellectual property practice at a private law firm, the Adomi Advisory Group, exemplifying his multifaceted dedication to excellence in both business and law. He has litigated intellectual property cases for a decade and advised clients in numerous industries and technologies to develop litigation strategies to further their business objectives.

His litigation experience includes counselling Fortune 500 companies such as Nike, Adobe, Boston Scientific, Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable, Gilead and Sanofi, as well as governmental organisations such as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Before law school, Edmond worked as a software engineer for five years, analysing and modifying existing remote monitoring software as well as developing and testing end-user applications for patients with implanted medical devices.

He has been recognised by various organisations for his leadership skills and been awarded the Order of Merit by the Government of Ghana, as well as the Excellence in Business Award and the Startup CEO of the Year prize by the Ghana Business Awards.

In 2022 he was recognised as the overall winner at the Ghana 40 Under 40 Awards and named one of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) in the law and justice category (“Great Legal Minds”) during the UN General Assembly. Ahadome also received the Presidential Award from the National Bar Association.

Edmond graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology (pre-med) from Concordia College, Minnesota, a Master’s degree in software engineering from the University of Saint Thomas, Minnesota, and Doctor of Laws (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota Law School.

He is licensed to practise law in California, Washington DC and Minnesota and on the federal circuit.
