NPP’s Dennis Miracles Aboagye inducted as a Chartered Marketer

The Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Cordinating Committee on Decentralisation and a Presidential Staffer responsible for Decentralisation, Dennis Edward Aboagye was over the weekend inducted as a chartered Markeketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana.

The Government spokesperson is a professional Marketing practitioner and has already been a member of the Chartered Institute Marketing UK (CIM-UK) since 2011.

He is popular in the sales and Marketing space in Ghana after being an active marketing practitioner for over a decade.

He has worked with several renowned companies in Ghana including the Enterprise Group, where he played various roles in the sales, marketing & client relations units of the Pensions subsidiary, Enterprise Trustees Limited.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye owns one of the leading outdoor advertising, marketing & Social Research companies in Ghana.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) was founded in July 1981 with the vision to be the voice of marketing practice in Ghana under the Professional Bodies Registration Act 1973 (NRCD143). The Institute aims at seeing organizations (both private and public) embrace the marketing concept, and be marketing oriented in their operations.

In 2020, the CIMG was granted a Parliamentary Act 1021 which gives it the mandate to regulate the standard in marketing practice and the training of marketing professionals in Ghana

After the passage of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Act, 2020 (Act 1021). The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana launched the Chartered Marketer in Ghana.

The CIMG inducted the first batch of Professional marketers as Chartered Marketers on Saturday the 29th of April, 2023 at a colorful event at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

Other distinguished Marketing practitioners awarded a chartered Marketer status at the ceremony included Prof. Robert Ebo Hinson who is the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Ghana Telecom University College, Mr. Lord Koramoa – Marketing Director for SSNIT and several other distinguished Marketing Professionals.
