NDC primaries: 8,947 delegates to vote in Oti Region

Diplomatic believes the 8,947 delegates will vote for the right candidates to support the flagbearer for an NDC win the 2024 general election

The Oti regional communications officer of the National Democratic Party (NDC), Mobarak Diplomatic, says the party is ready for the primary election tomorrow.

In an interview with Asaase News, he said all candidates have campaigned without insults. He believes the 8,947 delegates will vote for the right candidates to support the flagbearer for an NDC win the 2024 general election.

The regional executive has called on delegates to exercise their franchise peacefully. He urged the candidates to support the winner to build a strong foundation at the constituency level.

The communications officer said, although the Guan District does not have a constituency, the party needs to be strategic as it waits for the electoral commission (EC) to create one.

He called on the EC and the government to create the Guan Constituency before the general election in 2024.
