Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with West Ham United to sign Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus in a deal worth £55 million.
The highly-rated 24-year-old is now set to undergo a medical in London before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract that will make him one of Spurs’ marquee signings of the summer transfer window.
The move follows an initial £50 million bid that was turned down by the Hammers, but Tottenham returned with an improved offer that has now been accepted, despite Kudus having an £85 million release clause.
