In a world where creativity knows no bounds, 17-year-old poet Wisdom Dodzie Dzisah is making a name for himself with his profound and insightful verses.
Dzisah’s journey into the world of poetry began during COVID-19 when he would scribble down his thoughts and emotions in a tattered notebook.
Speaking to Keely-Jade Brewer on the Between Hours Show, the 17-year-old said, “During the COVID-19 era, I sat down and took a sheet of paper and jotted something down.”
“The world seemed dark then and everyone was depressed. So I tried to write a poem to inspire and uplift their souls.”
Wisdom Dodzie Dzisah is a beneficiary of a non-governmental organisation, Drive To Inspire-Africa (DTI).
Nana Adjoa Hackman founded Drive To Inspire-Africa (DTI) to encourage young people to dream and to inspire and guide them in pursuing that dream.
It is also to assist young people in overcoming roadblocks on their path to success.
Despite his burgeoning success, Dzisah remains humble and grounded, attributing his inspiration to the world around him.
As Dzisah continues to hone his craft and explore new avenues of expression, one thing is certain: this young poet is destined for greatness.
With each new poem he shares, Dzisah invites us to see the world through his eyes, to feel the emotions that pulse through her verses, and to embrace the power of words to heal, inspire, and transform.
