Medikal to energise “LIZO PUB” tomorrow — tells Sir K.A.Y on Kete Drive

With tomorrow’s activation opening the campaign and his positive words resonating, Medikal continues combining artistry with impact — inspiring listeners while keeping his audience engaged

Ghanaian rap heavyweight Medikal has announced the start of a new road activation tour, set to kick off tomorrow at Lizo Pub in Sowutuom.

The revelation came during a lively appearance on AsaasePa’s Kete Drive show hosted by Sir K.A.Y, where the rapper also offered words of gratitude, caution, and policy support.

“As we speak, I’m already in Sowutuom and I can’t wait to turn up at Lizo Pub tomorrow,” Medikal revealed, building excitement ahead of what is expected to be a charged, high-energy event for fans.

The Road Activation series — still shrouded in mystery — is expected to feature street performances, fan interactions, and other surprise elements designed to bring Medikal closer to his base.

The rapper, known for hits like “La Hustle” and “Omo Ada”, took time to thank Asaase Radio for the platform, saying:

“I want to thank Sir K.A.Y of AsaasePa and the whole team for the opportunity.”

Beyond music, Medikal also took a moment to offer timely advice to Ghana’s youth, especially those in the Gen Z bracket. Drawing from personal experience, he urged:

“Stay away from drugs and keep fit.”

His words echoed a growing call among public figures for young people to embrace healthier, more responsible lifestyles amidst rising concerns about substance abuse.

The conversation also touched briefly on national policy, with Medikal endorsing the recent proposal to shift public holidays to Fridays in order to boost productivity and tourism.

“I support the idea of holidays moved to Friday — it’s a great move,” he noted.

With his activation tour set to begin in Sowutuom and expected to roll out across other parts of the country, fans can brace themselves for what may become one of the most talked-about grassroots campaigns in Ghana’s music scene this year.
