Malik Basintale appointed Acting CEO of Youth Employment Agency

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Malik Basintale, the Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

The announcement follows the resignation of Kofi Baah Agyepong, as CEO, who resigned, citing personal commitments and aspirations.

Basintale, a dynamic figure in Ghanaian politics and one of the most prominent voices during last year’s December 7 Presidential Election campaign, will officially assume his new role on Monday, 27 January 2025.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mr Basintale expressed his gratitude to President Mahama, tweeting: “Thank you, Mr President, H.E John D. Mahama. We shall not fail you❤️🙏🏽🇬🇭“.
