Kimathi Kuenyehia appointed president of American Chamber of Commerce

Kuenyehia succeeds Ayesha Bedwei Ibe, a Tax Leader for PwC Ghana, who led the organisation since 2020.

The managing partner at Kimathi & Partners, Kimathi Kuenyehia has been appointed president of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Sharing the news on Facebook on Monday (4 December) commended the outgoing president Ayesha Bedwei Ibe for her contribution to the Chamber.

“We are honoured to announce Kimathi Kuenyehia as the new President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ghana. We are confident that you will build on the stellar achievements of past Presidents to further the interests of businesses and leverage the thriving trade relations between Ghana and the United States for growth and prosperity.”

“We are also grateful for the leadership of our immediate past President, Ayesha Bedwei Ibe. The Chamber appreciates your unwavering commitment to enhancing bilateral commercial relations between the United States and Ghana,” the Chamber posted on Facebook.

Kimathi Kuenyehia is an award-winning Harvard-educated transactional lawyer who is ranked by Legal 500 as one of the top 5 leading lawyers in Ghana.
