Kwahu Ambassador dismisses claims of chaos ahead of Easter festivities
Kwahu Ambassador assured the public that the area remains peaceful and safe for all who plan to join the festivities

Odame Agyare, popularly known as the Kwahu Ambassador, has refuted reports suggesting potential unrest in Kwahu during this year’s Easter celebrations.
He assured the public that the area remains peaceful and safe for all who plan to join the festivities.
In an interview with Obomengniibaa Nana Akua on the AsaasePa Kwahu Easter Activation show, Agyare addressed speculation that had caused concern among some revellers.
According to him, these claims have no basis and should not discourage people from attending the much-anticipated celebration.
The concerns heightened after the Eastern North Regional Police Commander submitted a letter to the court, requesting that Kwahumanhene Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng III and the destooled chief Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II sign a bond of good behaviour.
However, during a court session held on Wednesday, 9th April 2025, the judge dismissed the request, stating that it was based on speculation, which does not hold in a court of law.
Reacting to the ruling, the Kwahu Ambassador stressed that there is no cause for alarm. “There is no chaos in the land of Kwahu. People coming for the Easter festivities should not panic,” he stated.
