Kojo Mensah back on air with “Just the Classics”

Kojo Mensah, president of Asaase Foundation

A new programme called “Just the Classics” is debuting Thursday 1 September 2022 on Asaase 99.5 Accra.

The show, which will be hosted by Kojo Mensah promises to be mood-oriented playlist that will reintroduce nostalgic moments that come with hit songs.

Uncle Kojo, as he is affectionately called, has worked in the media industry for over three decades and has held positions as a producer and radio journalist at different media companies in Ghana and the UK.

Just the Classics will lead audiences on a reminiscence trip back into time where the songs will tell stories of that era through timelines of their release.

It will also have an element of sweeps of music, literature of artistes and songs plus connection to world events or happenings on the local Ghanaian scene when the songs were in vogue.

Just the Classics is slated to air twice a week – Tuesdays and Thursdays – from 10pm to 12 midnight.
