Kim Kardashian has officially completed her legal apprenticeship through California’s Law Office Study Program, marking a significant milestone in her pursuit of a legal career.
The reality TV star and entrepreneur celebrated the achievement with a backyard graduation ceremony attended by family and friends.
Kardashian began her legal studies in 2019, opting for the unconventional path of apprenticeship over traditional law school. The program required her to study under a licensed attorney, dedicating 18 hours a week for 48 weeks each year. Over six years, she completed more than 5,100 hours of legal study.
During the ceremony, Kardashian’s children dressed in business attire, paying homage to their late grandfather, attorney Robert Kardashian Sr. Mentor Jessica Jackson praised Kardashian’s dedication, highlighting her ability to balance rigorous study with her responsibilities as a mother and businesswoman.
Having passed the “baby bar” exam in 2021 and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination in March 2025, Kardashian is now preparing to sit for the California Bar Exam. Success in this final step will allow her to practice law officially.
Kardashian’s journey into the legal field was inspired by her involvement in criminal justice reform, including efforts to commute inmate sentences. Her commitment to advocacy continues to shape her career aspirations.
In addition to her legal pursuits, Kardashian is set to star in the upcoming Hulu legal drama “All’s Fair,” portraying a high-powered divorce attorney. The series, created by Ryan Murphy, is scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2025.
Kardashian’s completion of the Law Office Study Program brings her one step closer to becoming a licensed attorney, reflecting her dedication to both her personal growth and her commitment to justice.
