The Medical tourism industry has now bounced back following the ravaging impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sector.

Addressing journalist in virtual conference  on prospects of the industry in India on Tuesday( 5 April) ,  Karthik Rajagopal, COO, Manipal Hospital Enterprise says delay in accessing both emergency and routine medical care will increase the danger of the underlying diseases worsening and may result in mortality.

With the opening of international borders, we can now continue to assist overseas patients who have had their procedures postponed due to the pandemic and travel restrictions.”
