Julius Debrah: Kwahu Business Forum is for Ghana’s future, not for NDC or NPP

The Kwahu Business Forum is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors and development partners to explore strategies for accelerating Ghana’s industrial growth

Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has emphasised that the upcoming Kwahu Business Forum is a non-partisan initiative aimed at fostering industrialisation and entrepreneurship in the country.

Speaking ahead of the forum, which is set to take place on Saturday (19 April) Debrah said the event should not be viewed through a political lens, stressing that the focus is on Ghana’s long-term economic transformation.

“I don’t want us to look at it as a political thing,” he said. “What the president wants to do is not about NDC or NPP. It’s something that is about Ghana.”

Debrah noted that President Mahama’s vision for the forum centres on national development, with an emphasis on creating sustainable opportunities for future generations.

He also revealed that he had reached out to members of the political opposition, including MP and former Agric Minister Bryan Acheampong, to encourage bipartisan support for the forum.

“They will be there, and they will make statements to buttress the fact that this project must not be looked at as a political thing but must be looked at as a national objective that we should all push,” he added.

The Kwahu Business Forum is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors and development partners to explore strategies for accelerating Ghana’s industrial growth.
