Mahama invites fans to his office to watch Ghana-Portugal game

The match between the four-time African champions and A Seleção kicks off at 4pm on Thursday at the 974 Stadium in Doha

The former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is inviting the general public to watch the game between the Black Stars and Portugal with him at his office near the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), Cantonments, Accra.

The match between the four-time African champions and A Seleção kicks off at 4pm on Thursday at the 974 Stadium in Doha.

“Let’s enjoy the beauty of football and cheer on the Black Stars against Portugal on Thursday. You are welcome to join me to watch the game in my office. Go Ghana! Go Black Stars!” Mahama tweeted.

Here are some Twitter users reacting to his invite:

Mr. President, are you sure we can vibe with you on a boy’s level and the security will not deal with us?

Item 13 is massively assured; isn’t it?

Whiles some users are pleased with the invite others are skeptical about his reason for the sudden invite:

Do you think on a good day, this same man will invite you to his office?” Get yourself into deep waters, go for his assistance, and you will hear what he will tell you. Oh God, help to shine their eyes.
