Jasikan Church leaders engage MCE on development plans

The Local Council of Churches in Jasikan has paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Parke-Davis Magyigbe, to congratulate him on his appointment and discuss priority development initiatives.

Led by Chairperson Nicholas Akorli, the church delegation reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the assembly on key sectors including road construction, education, healthcare, and job creation. They praised the MCE’s leadership and pledged continued support for the municipality’s progress.

Magyigbe expressed gratitude for the Council’s support before and after his confirmation. He identified the rehabilitation of Jasikan’s township roads as a major priority and shared plans for upcoming interventions aimed at improving living conditions.

The meeting highlighted the value of collaboration between faith-based institutions and local authorities in promoting sustainable development. Both sides pledged to work together to ensure effective delivery of projects for residents.
