Jackie Appiah at 38: “I’m a year better and happier”

To celebrate this milestone, the mother of one has taken to social media to share some breath-taking photos

Ghanaian award-winning actress, Jackie Appiah, is 38 years old today. The movie star, born on 5 December 1983 in Toronto, Canada, is the last of five siblings.

She made her debut on the movie scene when she was cast as Enyonam Blagogee in the hit Ghanaian television series, “Things We Do for Love” in the early 2000s and steadily worked her way to stardom starring in several Ghanaian movies including Mommy’s Daughter and Shirley Frimpong-Manso‘s Perfect Picture.

Jackie gained international recognition when she broke onto the Nigerian film market starring alongside many Nollywood big names including Olu Jacobs, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke and Desmond Elliot.
