Headmistress of WASS interdicted for allegedly charging illegal fees

A statement issued by the Ghana Education Service (GES) on Thursday (20 July), said Ofori was interdicted for allegedly collecting illegal fees in the school

The headmistress West Africa Senior High School (WASS) at Adenta in the Greater Accra Region, Dr Shine Agatha Ofori has been interdicted with immediate effect, an official statement has said.

A statement issued by the Ghana Education Service (GES) on Thursday (20 July), said Ofori was interdicted for allegedly collecting illegal fees in the school.

“Management of GES has interdicted Dr Mrs Shine Agatha Ofori, Headmistress of West Africa SHS, for unauthorised collection of money from students.”

“She is to handover the administration of the school to the regional director of Education pending final determination of the case by the regional disciplinary committee,” the GES statement said.
