Gabby Otchere-Darko: I’ve retired from active local politics

The executive chairman of the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) was speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Wednesday (31 January)

Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart and political strategist has expressed disappointment over the inability of the NPP to market its achievements within the past few years.

Otchere-Darko believes despite the recent economic challenges in the country, the government has made some tremendous progress in terms of governing the country.

Speaking to Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Wednesday (31 January) Otchere-Darko said, “I have retired from [active] domestic politics.”

“But I get somehow frustrated by the narratives, and a big disappointment I have is with the governing New Patriotic Party itself, it is the lack of recognition of the work that they have done. For me, it’s a major disappointment,” he added.
