The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, is presenting the budget for the first quarter of 2021 in Parliament.
The presentation, known as the Expenditure in Advance of Appropriation for January to March 2021, usually occurs in election years to prevent transitional challenges in the smooth running of government for the first three months in the year after an election.
