Border patrol authorities in the United States have confirmed that a two-year-old child from Ghana was last weekend (Sunday) dropped over the 18-foot U S-Mexico border wall by a smuggling cartel.
In a disturbing surveillance video released by border officials, the child’s father who was at the other end of the border was seen catching her after being dropped over by the paid smugglers.
She was not injured throughout the process, border officials confirmed in a report by KUSI, a local news network based in San Diego.
United States Border Patrol Chief of the San Diego Sector, Aaron Heitke, warned āthis could have been catastrophic.ā
Many migrant shelters along the U.S.-Mexico border are extremely over capacity, as the United States has seen a surge in migrants seeking asylum after President Biden reversed many of former President Trumpās immigration policies that border patrol agents say were successful.

Border Patrol Agent, Moreno explained that this is a very coordinated smuggling effort.
Agent Morena explained the smugglers ādonāt see these people as human beings, they donāt see them for what they are. They just see them as contraband, they see them as cargo, once they get them across, thatās when they get paid. If they donāt get these people across, they donāt get paid.”
