I don’t know where my children are, says Funny Face

Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak show recently, he revealed that even though he doesn’t know where his twin daughters, Ella and Bella were at the moment, his manager was regularly in touch with them

Ghanaian actor and comedian, Benson Nana Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face has disclosed that he does not know where his two daughters are.

According to the Chorkor Trotro driver actor, he has decided to shelve the idea of looking for them to improve the state of his mental health.

Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak show recently, he revealed that even though he doesn’t know where his twin daughters, Ella and Bella were at the moment, his manager was regularly in touch with them.

Among the many other issues that came up during the interview, Funny Face talked about the cause of his depression.

He pointed out that the popular narration that he went into depression after breaking up with her children’s mother that was not true. However, it was his deep love for his daughters that caused his mental instability.

“Buttocks didn’t take me through depression, the love of my children sent me into that state. I was so crazy about my daughters to the extent that when they were crawling, when they fall and cry I cry too.

“Naturally, I am an emotional person and I love people’s kids deeply, so, how much my own? “So, when they were no more with me I couldn’t take it, I lost it. Their toys are in the room and when I see (them), my triggers go level 10, it was that bad,” he said.

Funny Face acknowledged that his stay in a mental health facility aided his recovery.

“When I went to the psychiatric hospital and they told me ‘you do not have a problem, yours is your emotions. When you get a grasp of your emotions you are okay. Your kids, everybody knows you do everything for them, so currently start working on yourself, focus on your mental health,” he said.
