The Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has assured consumers it is working to fix the challenge of irregular flow of water being experienced in some communities in the Greater Accra Region.
A statement issued and signed by Stanley Martey, communication director of GWCL said, “This challenge has caused a reduction in the volumes of water produced at the treatment plant, which has triggered a drop in pressures in the distribution system, resulting in irregular flow to communities in hilly areas and no flow at the extreme ends of the distribution network.”
The affected areas include; Kasoa Nyanyano, Bortianor, Weija Malam, Anyaa Kwashieman, Mataheko, Odorkor, Dansoman, North Industrial Area, Tesano and adjoining communities.
