Parliament is currently debating the motion for vote of censure against Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

Members of the Minority in Parliament filed a motion for a vote of censure against the Minister for Finance in accordance with Article 82 of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana.

Subsequently, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has set up an eight-member committee to investigate the allegations made by the Minority Caucus against the Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta.

The eight-member committee was co-chaired by Dominic Ayine (MP for Bolgatanga East) and KT Hammond (MP for Adansi-Asokwa).
