Zenator Agyeman-Rawlings secured 1,194 votes to beat her main contender Alfonso Nii Coleman, who got 360 votes

Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has said she feels humbled and more encouraged to represent the people of Klottey Korle constituency in Parliament after she was retained as a candidate over the weekend.

She secured 1,194 votes to beat her main contender Alfonso Nii Coleman, who got 360 votes. She becomes the first NDC MP to retain the seat for a second time in a row.

In a Facebook post on Monday (15 May), Zanetor expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to her victory, adding that she will not be complacent.

“To my beloved Klottey Korle Constituents, my team and especially to all the delegates that made this happen, I wish to say a very big thank you for your immense support.

“As the first Member of Parliament of the NDC to retain the seat for a second time in a row in Klottey Korle is not only humbling and encouraging but it is also a reminder not to get complacent,” she wrote on Facebook.

“We are united! Together we have won, together we build and together we are ready for 2024,” Zanetor added.
