GPL fixtures 2024/25: Super Clash set for December and May next year, Samartex to start at Dreams

The Ghana Football Association has announced the fixtures for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League on Monday (29, July) with the Super clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko set for December 2024.
The first-round match is set to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi between December 13 and 16, 2024.
The return fixture will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium between 2 and 5 May 2025.
Asante Kotoko did a double over Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League last season before edging past their rivals in the maiden Democracy Cup in July.
Kotoko won the first-round league match 3-2 in Kumasi, even though it was originally scheduled for Accra before a 2-0 victory in the second round at home.
Hearts of Oak will look to avenge these losses in the upcoming season as both teams compete for the title.
Hearts of Oak host newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their opening Premier League match while Asante Kotoko SC travel to Karela United.
Holders FC Samartex 1996 will open their defence of the Premier League title with an away tie at Dreams FC.
Premier League new boys Vision FC host Berekum Chelsea, Nsoatreman FC battle Young Apostles at home, Aduana FC take on Heart of Lions, Gold Stars FC host Legon Cities while Nations FC entertain Bechem United in the opening matches.
