Kojo Antwi to publish a book about his career in 2023

Afro-pop, highlife and reggae musical artiste, Kojo Antwi, also known as ‘Mr Music Man’, has disclosed that he will release a book about his career next year (2023).

The book among others is expected to chronicle his decades of experience in the music industry and also share how his work has inspired others.

Speaking to sit-in host of The Asaase Breakfast Show Benjamin Offei-Addo on Friday (23 December), Antwi said “…we inspired someone like Alpha Blonde, you will hear about all of this in the book.”

“I have been working on it for the past 15 years,” the Medofo Pa hitmaker said. “It is broad. I have the opportunity of meeting all the current top African musicians including Angélique Kidjo and Yvonne Chaka Chaka.”

“I feel very little is written about us. Hugh Masekela wrote a book before he died, but the things you see about us are just small proportions of things that appear in the newspapers. So, I felt it was time to do something, because I feel I have been given a mission,” Antwi said.

The award-winning artiste will thrill his fans at his Love Songs Unlimited Concert on Saturday 24 December 2022.
