The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has released the names of members in good standing who are eligible to vote in the upcoming rerun of its Ashanti Regional election, scheduled for 22 August 2025.
Thirty-one journalists from media houses have been cleared to participate.
The rerun follows disputes and procedural challenges that marred the initial poll.
The Association says the publication of the list is intended to ensure transparency and fairness in the process.
The GJA Ashanti regional contest is expected to be closely watched, given the tensions that surrounded the earlier election.
