The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has thrown its full weight behind BHIM Music Group Limited in the organisation of the 2025 BHIM Festival, slated for December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event, one of the flagship highlights of this year’s “December in GH” calendar, promises an electrifying celebration of Ghanaian music, culture, and creative excellence—bringing together some of the biggest names in local and international entertainment.
The GTA confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium has been secured as the official venue, with preparations led by BHIM Music Group set to begin on December 23, ahead of the festival’s main night.
Speaking on the Authority’s support, Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, said the partnership underscores the GTA’s continued commitment to strengthening the creative arts sector as a cornerstone of national tourism growth.
“This support reflects our dedication to amplifying the creative arts as a major pillar of tourism growth,” she said. “The December in GH initiative continues to create opportunities that unite Ghanaians and attract visitors to experience our culture, music, and hospitality.”
According to the Authority, events such as the BHIM Festival are not only platforms for artistic expression but also vital tools for positioning Ghana as Africa’s ultimate festive and cultural destination.
The GTA reiterated its commitment to working closely with creative industry players, event organisers, and tourism stakeholders to deliver unforgettable experiences under the December in GH brand, which has become a defining feature of Ghana’s end-of-year celebrations.
Founded by award-winning reggae and dancehall star Stonebwoy, the BHIM Festival has evolved into one of Ghana’s most anticipated annual concerts—a celebration of African creativity, unity, and global musical appeal.
