Ghana will face off against Nigeria in the second round of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifiers in December.
The Black Galaxies were pitted against their Nigerian counterpart during Wednesday’s draw at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday, 9 October 2024.
The first leg of the tie takes place between 20-22 December 2024, in Ghana, before the return leg comes off on 27-29 December 2024 in Nigeria.
Ghana eliminated Nigeria to secure qualification to the last edition of the CHAN tournament in Algeria after post-match penalty shootouts after a 2-2 aggregate score line.
The winner of the two-legged ties will secure their spot in the CHAN 2024 to be held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year.
Ghana and Nigeria have a long-standing rivalry in what is expected to be a thrilling two-legged affair.
