Ghana Gas to construct second astroturf park in Walewale-Kperiga

Ghana Gas is financing the construction of a second astroturf park in Walewale-Kperiga in the West Mamprusi Municipality.

The project is expected to be completed in July 2023 by Ultimate Impression One Limited.

The board member at Ghana Gas and a former Northern regional minister, Steven Sumani Nayina, urged the construction company to do a professional work and complete the project on time.

“We have come and the work will begin,” Nayina said. “We are not going to come back, we are starting the work now because we came with the contractor. He will do a good work for you.”

“I hope the contractor will do a good job and complete the project as soon as possible. Ghana Gas will see to it that the project is completed to help the youth in this area. I will only advise the youth gathered here to be patient. The work will finish very soon,” Nayina said.

The MCE, Issahak Arimeyaw Basintale Some Lucky, implored the contractor to employ the youth in the area to assist in the execution of the project.

“The assembly wrote a letter to Ghana Gas requesting an astroturf and they accepted our request. You look at the Kperiga area, they have a lot of talents when it comes to football, so, fortunately, Ghana Gas has replied for the construction of an astroturf.

“This will go a long way to support the youth in terms of development in sports and also make life very good for us, but I want to urge the contractor to help the youth from this area by employing them to assist you in executing this project,” the MCE said.
