Obomengniibaa Nana Akua of Asaase 99.5 Accra has been adjudged the Entertainment Personality of the Year; (Journalist) category at the 2nd Annual Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards.
According to Ellis Adjei, the founder of the Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards, Obomengniibaa Nana Akua distinguished herself from her colleague journalists in entertainment news and production by transforming personal ambitions into goals, as well as using her direct channel of communication, radio to highlight some significant concerns in society during the year under review.
Obomengniibaa is the producer of Asaase Café, hosted by Caroline Sampson, and 995 Rush Hour, hosted by Elvis Crystal on Asaase 99.5.
She also hosts an entertainment segment-“The Juice” on Asaase 99.5 in Accra.
