GFA and decathlon Ghana extend partnership to boost football development
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Decathlon Ghana extend their partnership to further strengthen football development and provide essential resources for the sport.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Decathlon Ghana have extended their partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing football in Ghana.
The renewal was formalized on March 5, 2025, during a signing ceremony at the Decathlon Superstore at Accra Mall, attended by key representatives from both organizations.
Decathlon Ghana’s CEO, Geoffrey Fadloul, expressed enthusiasm for the continued collaboration, emphasizing Decathlon’s dedication to nurturing the sport’s growth in Ghana. The event also welcomed executives from Decathlon France, including Gonzalo Diez, Company Lead for the Middle East and Africa.
Leading the GFA delegation was President Kurt E.S. Okraku, accompanied by Director of Marketing Jamil Maraby, Head of Public Relations and Strategy Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe, and Black Stars Assistant Coach John Paintsil.
During his speech, Okraku commended Decathlon for its unwavering support over the past four years, noting its significant contribution, particularly to women’s football. He assured Decathlon of the GFA’s continued commitment to fostering a transparent and impactful partnership.
The extended agreement is set to further bolster football development across Ghana, providing essential resources and strengthening grassroots and professional football programs.
