The former Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, George Andah has endorsed the candidature of Eugene Arhin as the New Patriotic Party (NPP), parliamentary aspirant for Awutu Senya West in the Central Region.
Arhin will be contesting against Gizella Akushika Tetteh-Agbotui, the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for the area in the 7 December elections.
He has called for unity within the rank and file of the party to ensure the party win backs the Awutu Senya West seat for the governing New Patriotic Party.
Addressing a rally in the constituency, Andah cautioned constituents against the phenomenon of voting “skirt and blouse”.
“We have to unite and vote massively on the day of election. There is no need for people to say, they will vote skirt and blouse, it will not work.”
“When you are going to vote, vote for Mahamudu Bawumia for number one and vote for Eugene Arhin on the ballot paper as well,” Andah said.
