GeniusLoci, in collaboration with the National Lotteries Authority (NLA), has officially launched the third edition of “The Luckiest Lottery”, an initiative aimed at promoting national development through strategic partnerships.
Building on the success of previous editions, the 2025 edition seeks to combine the thrill of lottery gaming with tangible social and economic benefits.
The lottery will once again be hosted on the NLA’s Caritas Platform, offering members of the Ghanaian community a chance to win big while supporting meaningful causes.
CEO of GeniusLoci, Kwabena Poku Boakye, announced a staggering GHC 2.5 million as the grand prize for this year’s “Luckiest” jackpot.

He emphasised the importance of responsible gaming, warning against addictive behaviors and reaffirming that the lottery is strictly not open to minors under 18.
“We’ve made ticket pricing accessible, from as low as GHC 1 to as high as GHC 5,000. From now until December, we’ll also be giving away essential items during our community draws,” Boakye added.
Head of Marketing at the NLA, Dennis Adutwum, highlighted the rationale behind the Authority’s partnership with GeniusLoci, praising the company’s integrity and commitment to corporate social responsibility.

“After a thorough assessment, we found GeniusLoci to be a company with strong values. That gave us confidence to direct revenue from the lottery toward youth empowerment, healthcare, sports, and infrastructure development. Even if you don’t win, your money will still make a visible impact in your community,” Adutwum said.
He also reiterated the NLA’s commitment to responsible gaming. “We’re actively regulating the process. All partners are instructed to monitor participants, restrict those who exceed approved spending limits, and ensure temporary pauses for safe, responsible play.”
Brand Ambassador Micky Osei Berko highlighted the initiative’s broader purpose, stating that, “This lottery has transformed lives. Especially around the festive season, ‘The Luckiest’ gives ordinary Ghanaians the chance to experience something extraordinary.”

Some participants including media personalities won prizes at the launch today, 20th August 2025 as first-hand winners. The prices included mobile phones, power banks and the grand prize, a TV set.
Designed to link public engagement with purposeful investment, “The Luckiest Lottery” aims to deliver lasting impact, even for those who do not win.

Both GeniusLoci and the NLA reaffirm their commitment to ensuring that every ticket purchased contributes to building a brighter national future.
The seasonal nationwide lottery is launched every July and runs until December, culminating in a grand draw hosted live on the NLA’s Charities Platform.
