Osisiadan-Bekoe adjudged 2022 most outstanding woman in communication leadership

Kobi Hemaa's award was in recognition of her impactful leadership as a communication professional within her current and previous organisations

Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, the director for corporate affairs and media relations at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (GI-KACE) has been adjudged the most outstanding woman in communication leadership at the 2022 National Communications Awards.

The 4th edition of the National Communications Awards, which was organised by RAD Communications Limited was held in Accra under the theme: “The digitalised economy: innovation for national development.”

Kobi Hemaa’s award was in recognition of her impactful leadership as a communication professional within her current and previous organisations that bring change and development to those organisations.

Touching on the award, Osisiadan-Bekoe said it was an honour to be recognised as a woman in the communication space.

“I am happy that my work as a communications professional has been recognised and rewarded. I will continue to give off my best wherever I find myself. As the adage goes ‘hard work pays’ and in this case, hard work has really paid off,” she said.

Earlier this year, Osisiadan-Bekoe joined GI-KACE as the first female director for corporate affairs and media relations. Prior to joining GI-KACE, she had worked in several organisations including Ghana Post, TV Africa and HomeBase TV among many others.
