NPP Primaries: “Bawumia boy” on a strong move to beat gender minister in Walewale

Dr Mahama Tiah Abdul Kabiru who picked the number three position on the ballot said his position on the ballot shows he will be the third NPP MP in the Walewale constituency

The technical advisor at the office of the Vice-President at the Jubilee House in Accra, Dr Mahama Tiah Abdul Kabiru who is contesting the gender minister and other three aspirants in the run-up to the primaries on 27 January 2024 seems to be gaining the attention of the delegates in Walewale.

Dr Mahama Tiah Abdul Kabiru who picked the number three position on the ballot said his position on the ballot shows he will be the third NPP MP in the Walewale constituency after the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

He reiterated that he is comfortable with his position on the ballot, saying that Vice-President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia won the NPP presidential primaries with number three on the ballot and that he is also going to win the primaries on 27 January 2024 and further will win the seat for the NPP on 7 December 2024.

“I am very comfortable with number three. I think that is a penalty for us to score as a striker. I think the Vice President won these elections with number three. I got the reaffirmation of that particular number. On the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, I will be the third person to go to parliament.”

Dr. Abdul Kabiru added that the delegates will not follow money, indicating that he has presented himself well and the delegates have patronized his ideas and are ready to give him the nod on Saturday (27th January 2024).
“The delegates will not follow money. I have presented myself and they have spoken already. It is just a matter of confirming it on the 27th of January that is all that we are waiting for,” he said.

The four aspirants and their positions on the ballot are; Hajia Lariba Abudu Zuweira, sitting MP and Gender Minister (number one on the ballot), Tahiru Shaman (number two on the ballot), Alhaji Dr. Mahama Tiah Abdul Kabiru (number three on the ballot), and Jangdow Mahama (number four on the ballot).
Dr. Kabiru says he fears none of the candidates he is contesting with.
