At least three more person have died of COVID-19 taking Ghana’s death toll to 1,448, the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said.
The country’s active cases have also reached 1,311 after 243 new coronavirus cases were confirmed at the laboratories.
As at 16 June, 2022, the GHS reports that the country’s total confirmed cases increased to 164,164, out of which 161, 405 have recovered.
So far, 14 cases have been classified as severe while 2 remain critical, according to GHS.
Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 7,632 with 7,626 recoveries so far.
Vaccination
So far 16, 752,032 persons have been vaccinated across the country as at 21 June 2022, the Ghana Health Service said.
