Republic of Seychelles has emerged top tourist destination in Africa in a just ended Travel + Leisure 2019 World’s Best Award.

Travel + Leisure 2019 World’s Best Award has named Seychelles the top island destination in Africa & the Middle East. The nomination results are from an annual survey conducted by Travel + Leisure, which allows readers of the New York-based travel magazine to rate their travel experiences around the globe. Readers share their opinions on top hotels, islands, cities, airlines, cruise lines, spas, among others.

An aspect of the award scheme is to rate best islands by region on a number of characteristics including the destinationā€™s natural attractions, beaches, activities & sights, restaurants, food, people and friendliness and value.

The Seychelles Islands, winners of 2019 top tourists destination has 115 natural islands in its archipelago. Each island is each unique and different in their own way.
