Theophilus Tawiah donates items worth GHc 60,000.00 to Prestea and Bogoso government hospitals
The two hospitals received 50 boxes of santex medicated body wash, 25 boxes of cappuccino tea drink and 25 boxes of instant noodles
Lawyer in private practice and aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate in the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency of the Western Region Theophilus Tawiah, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, donated items worth GHc 30,000.00 each to Prestea and Bogoso Government hospitals.
The two hospitals each received 50 boxes of santex medicated body wash, 25 boxes of cappuccino tea drink and 25 boxes of sedaap supreme instant noodles.
Present at the event at Prestea Government Hospital were the matron, Mrs. Gilbertson Otoo, the administrator, Mr. Nureeden Jamio, nurses and other other staff of the hospital.
Speaking at the event, Lawyer Tawiah expressed his desire to continually support the hospital and similar facilities within the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency.
The matron of the hospital, speaking on behalf of the management of the hospital, expressed her appreciation to Lawyer Tawiah for the kind gesture and requested further support from him given the opportunity.
Lawyer Tawiah, with some members of his campaign team, later toured the hospital facility and visited some patients at the respective wards in the hospital.
Later in the day, Lawyer Tawiah made similar presentation at the Bogoso Government hospital. The donation was received by Madam Felicity Korankye, the administrator, on behalf of the management of the hospital. Also present were nurses and other administrative staff.
Presenting the items, the aspiring MP, indicated his passion to help the constituents and these are just the beginning of good things to come.
Madam Felicity Korankye in receiving the items also thanked Lawyer Tawiah for the kind gesture which was one of its kind. Lawyer Tawiah later visited the children’s ward of the hospital with his team.
