Davido, Chioma wed in lavish Ceremony

Afrobeat star Davido has wed his long-time heartthrob, Chioma Rowland, in a lavish event attended by the crème de la crème of the entertainment industry and other top dignitaries.

The event, held on Tuesday at Harbour Point in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State, marked the culmination of years of friendship and, as expected, generated buzz on social media.

Tuesday’s ceremony came about two weeks after Davido confirmed his wedding to the chef. On Sunday, the 30 BG boss posted their pre-wedding photos to set the tone for one of the most anticipated events in the nation’s entertainment circle, tagging it #Chivido2024.

Davido and Chioma marriage won’t last more than seven years, says counsellor Lutterodt

Ghanaian relationship counsellor and media personality George Lutterodt has shared his thoughts on the extravagant wedding between Davido and his girlfriend, Chioma.

Davido and his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland, celebrated their union with a lavish ceremony in Lagos on 25 June 2024.

In an interview with Accra-based Peace FM, he predicted that Davido and Chioma’s marriage might not last more than seven years.

National Film Authority awards €90,000 grants to three film projects

As part of providing financial support to film makers in Ghana, the National Film Authority, has lent a hand to some three film production companies.
This is aimed at encouraging collaboration, presented the financial aid to people who have come together to co-produces film projects.
The initiative championed by the National Film Authority is in collaboration with the French Embassy, Creation Africa and Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).
This announcement was made at the office of the National Film Authority at the Accra Tourist Information Centre in Accra on 25 June 2024.
Late Nollywood legend Mr Ibu laid to rest
The final burial rites of the late Veteran Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu is happening at his hometown, Amuri in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Mr. Ibu is being laid to rest today, 28 June. A viral video circulating on social media shows pallbearers carrying his casket to the cemetery for burial.
Family mourners and members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) attended the funeral. His burial ceremony will be wrapped up on Sunday, June30 with a church thanksgiving for family members, friends and sympathisers.

Lil Win releases song on 25 May  fatal accident in Kumasi

Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lil Win has released a song with Kweku Flick and King Paluta about the 25 May fatal accident which occurred in Kumasi.

The accident happened at Amakom near the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) and led to the death of a 3-year-old boy.

The 3-year-old boy, Nana Yaw, was in a vehicle with his father when they were hit by Lil Win’s car. Some eyewitnesses said Lil Win was speeding in the congested area of Amakom.
