Enterprise Group to acquire Acacia Health Insurance

Enterprise Group PLC has begun moves to acquire Acacia Health Insurance Limited, subject to approval by the National Insurance Commission (NIC).

Enterprise Group has also notified the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) of the acquisition of Acacia.

Acacia which is a major private health insurance service provider in the country has been in operation for the past eight years.

Keli Gadzepko, Group CEO of Enterprise says the acquisition if approved will enhance the firm’s contribution to the insurance industry in the country.

“We are very excited about this transaction which has been a significant part of our strategy for some time,” he said.

Gadzepko added, “With the addition of health insurance to our portfolio, we are poised to make an even greater contribution to the insurance industry and look forward to offering our services as thoroughbreds to a wider segment of the market.”
